Our baby Solo, our sweetest best good boy, needs medical help. We are doing everything we can to get him the emergency care he needs, but we don't have the funds. They don't have veterinary payment plans available, and we don't qualify for their financial assistance options.

On Monday, he was a happy-go-lucky pup, running around the dog park making friends. Tuesday, he began getting sick, and we saw behavior changes: a little lethargic, more anti-social. Wednesday and Thursday, he showed some signs of improvement; we thought the worst was over.

Today, he had a sharp decline. He's not eating. He can't keep water down. He's had a fever - among other worrisome symptoms. He is not doing well, and his symptoms began to get even worse at the emergency clinic this evening, where we are learning his treatment and testing is going to be far more than we can afford.

Those of you who know us well know we try not to ask for help if we can avoid it. However, we have exhausted the options currently available to us.

We are so scared of losing our baby. He is turning two in November, and he means the world to our family. Please help us reach our goal. Please help us help our baby boy, Solo.
