Life gets hard with medical issues

On August 15th 2018, my Dad went to the ER and found that he had an aortic aneurysm/dissection.  He was immediately put through open heart surgery, which lasted nine and a half hours.  Thankfully, his surgery was a complete success.  Although his surgery was successful, he is now dealing with the financial strain of medical bills and time off of work.  This surgery has been a tremendous physical and emotional journey for the patriarch of our family.  In the weeks to come, I want him to focus on his recovery instead of the financial costs of his surgery.  I am asking you to please help my dad at this time.  We are not a family that asks for handouts, but we want to reduce the financial stress that he is experiencing.
