CD for Irish Dogs for the Disabled

I have friends who received assistance dogs from the non-Government funded charity Irish Dogs for the Disabled http://www.dogsfordisabled.ie/ . These dogs have transformed their lives giving adults and children independence at home, in the community and at school. The photograph above is of Emma, one such assistance dog.
It takes about €15000 to train a dog and match it with a partner. As the charity has to survive on donations, I decided to help in the only way I knew.
I have written a radio play, Lady Invincible, which I intend to record to CD with the help of professional actors giving their time free. Check out this link to see the artwork and to read about the actors and the play: http://lombardicvc.wix.com/ladyinvincible

The CD's will then be sold and all funds raised will go to the charity Irish Dogs for the Disabled.
To record and purchase 2,000 fully packaged CD's, with the artwork on covers and insets done by an International painter and donated to the project, costs €1,780. I hope to sell as many CD's at €6 each and pass on a batch to the charity HQ so they can sell it too. Customers will be able to buy it with their xmas cards and calendars. The additional purchase will boost the donations and help the charity continue to do this brilliant work.
The sum obtained here will generate €12,000 when all the CD's are sold. Add to that, the auction of the original painting and and we may obtain enough to train one dog.
Between us, you and me, we can help someone desperately in need of an assistance dog - a dog who will help them walk, or pick up pens, wallets, phones or anything dropped, a dog who will press a traffic light button, a dog who will provide independence and unconditional love. How awesome is that?
