Film on Indian Immigrants to Michigan

Hi everyone,
I am working on a documentary film on Indian Immigrants to the United States with a special focus on the state of Michigan. I hope you will chip in with your support to make this project a reality.
I am a professor of sociology at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. One of my main areas of research interest is immigration. The documentary is an informative and colorful depiction of the lives of the diverse immigrant community from India in Michigan. It focuses on their patterns of immigration and their paces of mainstream integration, along with their contribution to this region.
The film reflects on the American value of pluralism, which allows immigrant minorities to survive, thrive and give back to the richness of American society as a whole. It will provide a unique ethnic enrichment opportunity to American audiences, portraying Indians as people and as a culture.
I have spent nearly four months filming this documentary. My film crew and I have attended all sorts of events in the Indian community and interviewed dozens of people, from doctors to dancers, entrepreneurs to yoga instructors. Indian immigrants are sometimes viewed as a model minority among sociologists; my film will explore why that is, highlighting the many different ways they have contributed to American society and the economy.
The movie is in post-production now. This project has been running on my personal resources so far, and I am launching this funding effort to help defray the continuing costs of production, editing and distribution of the film. I hope you will help me fund this film, and spread the word to others.
