Transportation For Rachel And CJ

I am asking for donations on behalf of my friend Rachel and her 11 year old son, CJ. CJ is in the middle of a downturn in his lifelong battle with a kidney disease called FSGS. The nature of his illness requires him to be hospitalized for long periods of time, and while he will absolutely pull out of this relapse- right now is an incredibly stressful time for them, physically, emotionally and financially. This morning when returning to her car, parked in the lot of Wesley Children’s hospital, she discovered that it had been stolen. It is absolutely crucial that she and her son have transportation and she can get back and forth from the hospital, and when he’s out that she can get him to his many dr appointments, as well as her job. Rachel has dedicated her life to helping others, in her daily actions and career. She is a special education teacher in a mixed abilities classroom at Franklin Elementary and has advocated for many children-including my own. She is also not one to ask for help or handouts- ever. So I am doing it for her. Please consider any size donation. They are an amazing and grateful family, and helping them out in any way would be tremendous. Thank you all.
