My name is Jessica Hernandez and I am raising funds for my sister. I come from a blended family. My younger sister Vanessa has been taking care of her father since Christmas. What started out as a cist on his leg and a small trip to the doctor, turned into stage three skin cancer. He has been through four rounds of chemotherapy and surgery in an effort to bring him back to health. Unfortunately all these efforts were unsuccessful. His last surgery caused an infection and his cancer has spread. He has been moved to end of life care. My sister has had to miss work and her job is going out of business. Simultaneously she is losing her job and her father. As a community I would appreciate any help she can get to cover hospital and funeral expenses. We all experience loss at some point in our lives but she

never imagined that she would lose her father before he even turned 50.
