Rekindled Dreams is a non-profit organization that will provide enlightenment to what many consider "A bleak future for young men and women particularly those in the African American community"
The Mission of Rekindled Dreams is to elevate young men and women ages 6-24 to new heights of achievement, fulfillment, happiness and social contribution.
The goal of Rekindled Dreams is to promote the Holy Trinity of:
Financial Wellness: We aim to help underprivileged children and young adults to learn how to manage their money effectively, understand the importance of having good credit and make wise financial decisions. This type of program will help rebuild our communities with having a new generation of men that WILL reinvest in our community.
Physical Wellness: Being physically well reduces the risk of illness, fatigue and injury. In addition, physical wellness can lead to psychological benefits such as enhanced self-esteem, self-control, determination, and a sense of direction.
Spiritual Wellness: We focus on teaching the process of getting in touch with your spiritual core. It is a dedication that is unique for each individual. This process can vary from attending church, gaining knowledge of self through Black History and practicing meditation. This can help young men and women find out about themselves, their history and most importantly our history.
Your contribution will help get our website up and running, as well as provide the marketing materials needed to get the word out to the community that our program exists. It will also allow us to purchase the materials that the participants will need. No donation is too small.Thank you in advance for your help, it is so very appreciated!
