Help me meet my father for the 1st time!

Im a United States Marine and a Disabled Veteran who has suffered thru a spinal fusion and 3 surgeries on my foot recently. For the past 2 years, I have been confined to bed and as of right now, I still, am unable to walk correctly. So, unfortunately, I have not been able to work. I live of of my veterans disability and that is only keeping a roof over my head, will little to spare. 3 years ago, I spoke with my father for the very first time in my entire life. On this past thanksgiving, I found out that my father whom I still have never met is terminally ill with Lou Gehrigs Disease (ALS) and only has a few weeks to live. I am asking for everyones help. I want to meet my father before he dies and time is not on my side. Please show some holiday spirit and help unite me with my father for the very first time!. I live in Hawaii and he lives in Virginia. I need to raise $3000 to cover my expenses, to be able to spend a week with him. Its probably going to be the most important and emotional week of my life. I need everyones generosity to make this happen or it simply won't happen. The more you donate, the longer I will have to spend with him.
