Jake's Journey

Hi everyone,

For those of you who don't know me, my name is Shannon and I have had the pleasure of having the Cox family in my life for the past 2 years. Just a few months ago, Jake was diagnosed with cancer. They recently found out some devastating news that the cancer has spread to his stomach and part of his spine.

I started this GoFundMe to help support Abbey, Jake and their daughter Payton during this time. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a tangible difference, helping to cover medical expenses, prescription medications, and other unforeseeable costs, which often accompany such a life-altering diagnosis.

Jake is scheduled to start 3 large rounds of Chemo this coming Monday (8/26) and will be reassessed by specialists post-chemo.

By easing some of these financial worries, we can allow them to focus on what truly matters: Jake's health and recovery. This has been heartbreaking, as you can imagine, for a young family and additionally a strain on their finances. The road ahead is not easy but with our support, we can make it easier.
