Disaster Relief Fund for Quimsing Family

Dear Friends,
I am asking for your help on behalf of our cousins, the Quimsings, and their families who all live in Tacloban City -- an area in the Philippines devastated by Typhoon Yolanda. Our cousins and their families are all safe, but like so many, their homes were not spared.
At this time, I'd like to share some photos and a letter from my cousin, Kensi, about their attempts to rebuild one of the homes that was damaged in order to provide shelter for all their families who are now displaced:
Dearest Loved Ones,
I am writing you this letter to ask for financial help in behalf of my siblings and their families who all live in Tacloban City. The typhoon "Yolanda", which destroyed almost everything, did not spare even our Dad's house. Praise God, everyone, Mama Nits, Nene and her family, Boboy's family, Nona and her sons (evacuated from her in-laws' place) and some neighbors, who temporarily took shelter in the house did not get hurt from the damage brought about by the typhoon.
The damage on Dad's house is mostly on the roof, with more than half of the roof blown away. Currently, Dennis, Nene's husband, is trying to contact carpenters who could give an estimate how much materials are needed to repair the roof. However, we also found out that with the scarcity of construction materials in Tacloban, the prices has almost tripled. Boboy, my brother, suggested that we buy the construction materials from Davao City and send it to Tacloban. We are still trying to see if such plan is feasible. But whatever our course of action would be, we have realized that the amount needed to fix our home would be more than what we can afford. This is why we are humbly seeking for financial help, any amount would do.
Once Dad's house is repaired, Nene's and Boboy's families will return and occupy the house. Nona and her 2 sons will also stay there because her residence was totally wash out by the storm surge.
We will be very much grateful for any amount of help you could spare. May God repay you for your generosity. To Him be all glory, honor and praise.
