Just wanted to post up about everything that has been going on about me
So....
Last Wednesday I was admitted to the Greenville Memorial Hospital after being seen by urgent care doctors. I went in for shortness of breath, anxiety and back pain. After a couple hours there with X-rays done and blood/ urine labs I was taken to the hospital by ambulance. After I arrived I was poked and examined a lot more and they found I had a large amount of fluid on my left lung, my Hemaglobin was very low and as well as my white blood cells. So I had two blood transfusions then Dr. Cain preformed a procedure to remove the fluid: the fluid was blood as an FYI.
Later I was ordered for an X-Ray and CT scan and the discovered masses in my lungs, liver, kidneys and adrenal gland (all on my left side).
Thursday was a day full of IV's blood work and more transfusion.
Friday I went to surgery to put two chest tubes in and to also biopsy one of the masses on my lung.
Since Saturday till today has been a waiting game to see what kind of cancer I have, where it started and to even see if it is treatable. There is an upcoming appointment with the oncology doctors to talk about the results and treatment. Once this happens my family will be moving back to Charleston to start my treatment along with my support system.
I do thank everyone for the positive vibes and wonderful prayers. Please keep them coming since this is only the beginning.
