Please help me lighten the load for a selfless family

Hello my name is Donna, my family and I have started this fundraiser to help out my beautiful, selfless best friend and her family.

Ev has been suffering herself from a rare tissue condition called Loeys-dietz which has left her in crippling pain daily, taking its toll on her immune system as well as physical and mental health, there is no cure and the life expectancy for someone with this disorder is 37 but in true Ev fashion she is pushing through as much of this life as she can.

She has been completely incapacitated for work now and relies on her sewing craft to create pieces to sell to generate income for her family. Ev sews every day regardless of pain or illness, she grows cooks and preserves food to help the family reserve money. There have been many times that Ev has made bulk lots of sauces, vegetables etc for our family to help us with the cost of living crisis also.

In the recent weeks Evelyn's husband Darren had been experiencing severe pain in his back, concerned he had injured himself he took time off work and rested until he was rushed to hospital and has now heart breakingly been diagnosed with Multiple myaloma. He is currently hospitalised and undertaking aggressive treatment as well as spinal precautions as the cancer that he has been diagnosed is in his spine and progressing.

Darren worked hard, manual labouring daily in his truck and excavator business to help support his family. He worked is the garden along side Ev to make gardens for the vegetables etc to ease their already stretched finances.

His prognosis is not curable, and unfortunately not a long survival rate. To add salt to the already open wound they have since found out that Darren's super and life insurance is not accessible due to an error when it was set up, leaving Darren and Ev with no super, impairment payments or insurance to lean on.

Ev cannot work or do anymore than she is doing and Darren has been advised he will not be able to work again. These are some of the most selfless, supportive people I know and I am so certain that if this was someone else they would be anything they could do help anyone, down to their last cent if needed.
