The Bowtie Boys Spring Trip

We plan on taking 44 Bowtie Boys and 12 chaperones on an historic trip to Little Rock and Memphis during the weekend before spring break. This will be a life changing trip for many of these young men, but we need you help to make it possible.

1. To be able to discuss intelligently about the positive and negative affects of integration.
2. Understand the 10th Amendment and the Federal and State Struggle for Civil Rights for Blacks in America.
3. Is the state of education better off because of integration?

Clinton Presidential Library
1. What coalition did he put together to get elected?
2. Why was President Clinton impeached and should it have ever happened?
3. How did Presdient Clinton’s policies affect blacks in America?

Memphis, Tennessee

National Civil Rights Museum
1. To stand at the very spot that Dr. King was shot.
2. To understand the struggle of the sanitation workers that caused Dr. King to make a trip to Memphis.
3. Attempt to arrange a meeting with someone that was alive and will tell their personal story.

1. A Stop along the underground railroad.
