Beths Breast Friends

I was 32 yrs old when I first heard the words "You have cancer." I was diagnosed with stage 3a breast cancer and went through surgery, chemo and radiation. A year later I was still getting monthly treatments but was ALMOST done when I was re diagnosed with stage IV. The cancer had spread to my liver, numerous bones and the lungs. I have  a husband and two children age 13 and 8. Stage IV metastatic cancer is what kills and the doctors won't tell me how long I have. This page was originally started as a bucket list for my family and I to take a trip out of the country, but I've come to realize this will never happen. I get too sick too suddenly to be able to travel that far. This month I have been hospitalized twice already, once with a blood infection and once for tumor fevers. Every time I am very sick or hospitalized my husband takes off work to stay by my side. Bills are stacking up and fmla does not pay. This page is now to help offset the cost of keeping me alive. I am sad to let go of my dream of leaving the country before I die, but I need to focus on staying alive right now for as long as I can. Thank you for any donation.
