A mother's ultimate sacrifice.

On March 6, 2018 my world forever changed. The love of my life gave birth to our twin sons, James Robert and Jude Michael, truly a glorious gift from God made from love. Shortly after tradgey struck our very new family when complications arose and the mother of these beautiful boys was called home to rest with our Lord. My darling Amanda wanted nothing more then for our boys to be safe, and she gave her life making sure they were ok. What should of been an extremely joyous occasion became so bittersweet. A 2nd tradgey struck instantly when her family kept me away from her because we weren't married yet and have now decided to try and take my sons away from the only living parent they have. Becasue of certain actions from her family I was kept away from signing the birth certificates and now have had to hire a lawyer to defend myself against them taking my boys away from me and slandering my name. At a time when 2 families should push aside all problems and differences to come together for the best of 2 innocent and precious boys, they have decided to go a different route. I have had to put my mourning and grieving aside to focus on getting my sons. My boys and I have received so much support and prayers from family, friends, co-workers, my congregation, and even strangers. As many know, one newborn can be daunting for a loving couple, since her family does not want to work with me, I am now having to take on the task of single fatherhood with 2 newborns alone. With so many unexpected and unneeded expenses and fees have been accumulating and will continue till all matters are finished with the courts. Many loved ones have been wanting to help and under legal guadince my attorney suggested I open a gofundme account. I have always been self-sufficient my entire adult life and it is very hard for me to accept monetary assistance even from family, but right now I know I must do everything I can for my sons now and for their future. I still have hope for the future for the 2 families to be able to do nothing but shower my sons with the unconditional love they deserve, but for now all my strength and focus is making sure I do not lose my sons.
