Dear Grande Prairie Community Member,
My name Gord Pankrotz with God’s Peace & Joy Ministries and I am a recovered addict offering support to others caught in the grips of addiction. Last year I organized and hosted a Community Christmas Event which over 265 guests attended. This event had free services available to all that attended such a massage and haircut as well as free clothing items such as socks, toques and mittens. This event was made possible by the overwhelming community response, with 145 volunteers and all materials/services having been donated.
This year’s Community Christmas Event we are hoping to make even bigger and better. In order for this to happen we again need the tremendous support of the community for financial, food and service donations. We have already been fortunate enough to have many of the services donated and have the Church of Christ booked for the evening of Friday December 18th, 2015.
