Please take a moment from your day to consider this unfortunate, yet hopeful situation in which we may learn to raise awareness for
animal responsibility.
Chica, my three year old Bobtail cat, was attacked in our home by a former junkyard Blue-Nose Pitbull who was brought into the house without permission. It was clear that he had an abusive past, for both of his ears had been snipped. The Blue-Nose was let off of his leash, free to roam in our home, which houses a cat and a kitten. It took only moments for him to stalk down Chica, and proceed to maul her. She is currently in intensive care after being gripped in lockjaw of the pit for at least one minute around her pelvis, suffering from puncture wounds which reach the bone on both sides of her body. I understand that there is a lot of controversy surrounding this unique breed of canine, for some are undoubtably lovable and harmless while others have been raised by heartless individuals to fight one another, and in turn have acquired a violent reputation. Although I am a lover of all animals, I ask that if you take on the responsibility of raising a potentially dangerous breed of animal, please be responsible. Too often do people and other animals get hurt during incidences such as these. Prayers for Chica the bobtail.

You are all beautiful people and I am so grateful for each and everyone of you. Chica is my child and now I'll now that she can get proper care. She is still in the hospital under care, hopefully I can see her within a few days!
