Ride Cambodia 2014

Hi everyone! I'm thrilled and extremely excited for the opportunity to ride 450 km through the rural villages of Cambodia. My colleagues and I are involved in our companies - Computershare's Change a Life initiative and projects that address poverty and empower communities to effect change around the world.

Since 2006 Computershare's Change a Life initiative has raised more than $5 million from employee and company-matched donations and fundraising programs.

Change of Life Ride Cambodia is Computershare's signature charitable event that starts with fundraising efforts and donations for Sunrise Children Villages and ends with my 29 of my colleagues and I cycling through the villages to see the impact of Change a Life first hand.

The money that you donate will go directly to Computershare's Sunrise 3 Village, an orphanage that provides a home for up to 200 HIV affected orphans.

100% of your donation will go directly to providing a full range of medical and dental care to help these children live long and healthy lives.

For me this ride is a personal journey starting with the challenge of raising $5000.00 for this very worthwhile cause, to training extensively in order to cycle an average of 60k a day (total 450K), and ending with the reward of a life-time, a life changing experience in Cambodia.
