Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda) Relief

Dear friends,
We need your help. Nestor Solis, CEO and president of Advantage Seal and Solis Tropical Fruits, with Cecilia Ceniza, CEO and president of Life Home Health, Inc., and I, believe we have a responsibility and duty to help the desperate survivors of typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda). We have decided to combine our own resources and efforts to help, through a non-profit, 501c3 charity foundation, Love Made Visible Foundation. The foundation was started in November 27, 2007 by a team of nurses from the Cebu Doctor's College of Nursing class of 1978. Being a 501c3 organization, your donations are tax deductible. The foundation has been actively involved in volunteer work and distribution of relief goods during the Bohol Earthquake. Nestor, Cecilia and I are members of the foundation. Love Made Visible foundation will closely monitor where your donations will go and who gets the help, which we believe is more spiritually gratifying.
In December 2012, after the aftermath of Typhoon Pablo, donations from friends and from his own companies, Nestor and his Philippine staff, working with government officials in Mindanao, personally delivered relief packages to the hardest hit areas. This is how we want donations to be delivered. It's like us handing it directly to those in need.
We are therefore asking you to support our efforts to raise money to buy food, water and essential supplies for these survivors in Tacloban and Northern Cebu. A group of volunteers formed by the foundation will go to hard hit areas like Tacloban and the northern part of Cebu to personally oversee the distribution. The mission will be photo-documented. Donations that are received late will be used for rebuilding programs and medical assistance.
So don't just shake your head in disbelief when you see those horrendous photos, videos and news updates on the aftermath of typhoon Yolanda. Take action now. Let's show that we care. Please support our plea to help Tacloban and Northern Cebu.
