REBUILD TACLOBAN - Philippines
Donation protected
Dr. Robert Behar, CEO of North Cypress Medical Center, has offered to "Match the Donations" made on this site! Your money doubles, and there will be double the number of the efforts we will be taking back to the Philippines!
One of the comments on CNN page:
"Time to get to the know the hardy Filipino people:unbelievably resilient, long suffering, good natured, uber friendly, loyal, ingenius, and a bunch of survivors.
At the end of the day the Filipinos will just shake off the dirt from their clothes and thongs and go about their business:and SMILE. They do not complain much, they will bear as long as they can.
Maybe this is why they were given the "privilege" of bearing the burden of the strongest typhoon ever recorded.
The indomitable human spirit at its finest."
This comment reflects who the Filipinos are. But at the same time, at this moment of devastation, while they may be smiling, they're also hurting. We, in the US, are also hurting for them. That is why we have come together to help do what we can. Join us in reaching out to them!
This project, to help them put their lives back together again, as much as possible, has been put together by a vast group of caring individuals of all walks of life and different nationalities. We have nurses, doctors, techs, secretaries, entrepreneurs, teachers, book authors, friends, families and co-workers. This group is operating under the auspices of a 501C3 non for profit organization: Sprouse Foundation for Healthcare Education. Funds will be managed by the Board of Directors of REBUILD TACLOBAN!
You can be assured that your donation will go directly to ground zero, not pennies on a dollar!
We need the following:
a. Blankets
b. Shoes, towels, clothes
c. First aid kits, medicines
d. Canned goods-non perishable goods
e. Donation
Please send labeled packages to:
c/o Mila Sprouse
4847 Canyon Shore Drive
Humble, Texas 77396
This address is the staging area for the donated goods, until we can mobilized these goods to the Philippines.
A medical mission will be implemented to directly distribute the goods to those who are in need. First aid and health education, to prevent diseases brought about by this calamity, are badly needed in these affected areas of the Philippines.
Thank you for your support!
