John Grindrod Family Fund

As many of you may know, John had a severe stroke on February 1st. After a two week stay in Seattle at Virginia Mason he was transferred to Yakima Regional for rehabilitation. Unfortunately, doctors were unable to remove the clot in his brain and to make matters more complicated they also found lung cancer. The lung cancer has been diagnosed as stage 3B though we are still waiting to get more information on this diagnosis and what it will mean for him specifically. He has been working extremely hard in rehab and is projected to go home on Thursday, March 1st. We are all extremely excited to have him return home however, he is still unable to walk or utilize the left side of his body. We as a family are so grateful for the outpouring of love, care, concern, thoughts and prayers! Everyone has asked for ways they can help and assist during this challenging time. With 6 of his 8 children and 8 grandchildren all living out of the area traveling in to help, modifications to the home and further expenses we are attempting to offset some of the financial burden for the family. Any donation is greatly appreciated and any amount will help! We will continue to post progress update as we receive them.
