Funeral Expenses for James Daley
Donación protegida
James Daley, 9/6/1955 - 3/12/2016.
Jim died suddenly and unexpectedly, leaving a hole where his enormous sense of humor, heart and presence filled the room. He was a loving father, brother, son, cousin, and friend, taken from us too soon when his heart gave out on Saturday, March 12 due to complications from a pulmonary embolism.
He was the kindest, gentlest man. He never spared a kind word ( or joke) for his friends, often at his own expense. As his daughter, I can truly say that there was no greater father. He loved me with all of his heart and I am grateful for every moment that I was able to spend with him, although I wish it were longer.
Jim was an active member of the community, serving at various times in his life on the Brockton School Committee, his local church council, and on many chapters and committees of the National Federation of the Blind. He strove to give of himself whenever possible despite of, and at times because of, his blindness, which he never viewed as a disability.
We are asking for any contribution towards his cremation and memorial service. He did not have life insurance and did not plan for this unexpected tragedy.
Words are insufficient to express the depth of loss that we all feel at this time. Thank you all for your prayers and kind thoughts.
