Help the people of Marapal, Philippines

My family, and countless others, have been severely affected by the recent super typhoon, Haiyan. I come from Marapal, a small community in the town of Lemery. Lemery lies about three hours north of Iloilo, a major city in Western Visayas, Philippines.
Marapal, and Lemery at large, took a direct hit from Haiyan on Friday, November 8th. Though my family was fortunate to escape the storm with their lives, but homes, schools, and businesses in my hometown are almost completely destroyed. Most of the people there make their living off of farming, so not only have they lost their homes, but their livelihoods as well. Already poor, my people are now struggling to figure out where they will sleep, what they will eat, and what they will do from here. We need your help to rebuild the community and the lives of Marapal.
Unfortunately, I don't have tangible rewards to give for your contributions, but the rewards you receive from helping others lasts far longer than a coffee mug. The good feeling you get in your heart, the smiles of gratitude you get from those you help, and the blessings you receive from God's approval of your good deed is well worth it. Also, you'll be able to see how your contributions are helping the people of Marapal, as we'll be posting news updates and photos of the progress being made.
Lastly, our family appreciates whatever contribution you are able to give. It doesn't have to be $25, $50, or $100. Your donation will make a difference.
