POS - Les Gazelles de Bruxelles 2024

Les Gazelles de Bruxelles is a sports-for-development organization dedicated to empowering individuals in vulnerable situations through sport.

Established in 2013, their focus has been on supporting refugees and newcomers, primarily through running and athletics activities.

They extend their support to young people from conflict zones such as Syria, Afghanistan, Ukraine, Sudan, and beyond.

They are launching a new athletics program for young asylum seekers in Flanders. Their aim is to empower these young individuals by organizing athletics sessions and sports camps in reception centers. They collaborate with five local reception facilities, providing training to volunteers and coaches. Additionally, young asylum seekers are encouraged to actively participate as volunteers or coaches, contributing to local training sessions.

Through involvement in events such as the Memorial Van Damme and local competitions, they inspire young people to experience the unifying power of sport.

We would like to contribute our part and want to raise the budget to make it happen.

The budget for this project is 8.000 EUR.
