Please help Lilly

My dear Lilly had to be rushed to the emergency vet hospital on friday morning after being very unwell. She had a blood transfusion to save her life and stabilise her. The doctors found a massive tumour in her belly, that has caused internal bleeding and I had to make a decision within minutes to put her into emergency surgery to possibly save her life.

Lilly has been so brave and made it through the surgery and is now fighting for her life with a pancreas infection and many complications post surgery.

I have been smashed today with a hospital bill of aud 30'000 that I have to pay in order for the hospital to keep looking after her and helping her recover. I have to come up with these funds within the next 24 - 48hours...

I am reaching out to my friends, my community and everyone that feels in their heart that they could help support this beautiful angel fighting for her life.

I know Lilly has touched many lives and I can't bear the thought of loosing her after she has been so brave and fighting so hard.

I was not able to get pet insurance for Lilly, because I rescued her from an indigenous community in WA, where she lived for the first 7 years of her life, with vets travelling out bush once every 3 months to look after the animals (there is no vets out there). When we moved to Cairns, Lilly was refused for insurance because she was too old.

I appreciate every help anyone can give.
