Love Will Win

This is my boyfriend Mason (gray hoodie) After years of enduring hate speech from his mom and stepdad Mason finally worked up the courage to come out as gay to most of his family. As strong anti-gay believers his mom and stepdad always made fun of his sexuality by mocking him and threatening to buy him dresses and girls clothes. Mason has always dreamed of rebuilding his relationship with his mom but every so often she sends him hate messages of how he’s a “disappointment to the family” and how she wants to “take him out of the world” Her text messages are the most hateful things I’ve seen in my life. I never thought people could be like her. I’ve always thought they were cliche movie characters. Unfortunately, this is very much a reality for the both of us. She even went as far as calling him a “fag” saying that its “hard for anyone to love him” stating that he’s the reason his biological father left at an extreme young age, and cutting him off from the rest of his family (grandma, aunts, etc) who also refuses to get involved because they don’t want to deal with the drama. After months of mental abuse Mason’s mom recently threw all his stuff out and is threatening to give it away. As he has recently turned 18 she kicked him out the house for not obeying her rules and continuing to “be a sissy” he now has nowhere to go. Mason is a freshman in college who just got his first job paying $8/hr to get an apartment and be on his own. His other family members won’t let him live with them because they don’t want problems with his mom and I can’t take him in because I am in college student housing and it’s against the rules to have overnight guests. There has been many close cases to where he was ready to commit suicide and I’m tired of seeing my boyfriend hurting. He no longer wants to go by his name because of all the abuse associated with it by his mother. I’ve known him for nearly 4 years and we’ve been dating for 8 months. His immediate family has not known about me because he’s afraid of what might happen since his stepdad physically abuses him as his mom watches. All he needs is enough to get on his feet to get an apartment so that he no longer has deal with the abuse of his family or having to sleep at another train station because she refuses to let him come home. Mason is most likely going to be upset that I put his business on here but he’s told me that I’m all he has in this world and I’m not in the position to save him due to me being a college freshman and not making enough income to support both of us. I know our sexuality is still not accepted by much of the world but I don’t want to see him suffer any longer. I would give my life for him. Im not going to release his moms name for the sake of his siblings. If there’s anyway you can please help Mason so that his sexuality doesn’t have to be the end of him.
