DOMINICA FAMILY DISASTER RELIEF
Donation protected
I am not one to be lost for words, but today I am. I am originally from the island of Dominica currently residing in the great state of Maryland with my family. On September 18th Hurricane Maria made landfall on my little island as a category 5 hurricane destroying everything in it's path. I am extremely grateful that none of my family perished but saddened that some friend lost their lives and even their entire families, while some are still missing. Hurricane Maria has left my country in total total devastation, my familys life and that of all Dominicans devastated and ravaged. My mom is now homeless at 80yrs old. That reality is true for over 90% of the residents. The future seems so bleak so dismal but I'm reminded of who we are, a resilient people, irrepressible a strong nation, there's no where to run to but to rebuild so we come to you via this medium and ask for your help. We cantbdo it on our own by no means. We need your help. Your. Ontribution will go towards purchasing and shipping food, medical supplies, water purification tables, toiletries and building materials. We have the man power to start rebuilding but need your help. We are in desperate need of food, Tarpaulins, toiletries, generators, basic first aid and medical equipments and supplies and any and all help will be grately appreciated. Please help our island Dominica. You may also purchase and drop off items needed. We thank you for your prays and again ask for your support.
