Mariana was born perfectly healthy on July 1st. On July 7th she was readmitted to the hospital for meningitis and Herpes virus, we don't know how she contracted it. It was not through pregnany, birth or her parents, we do know that. She received several blood transfusions while at Blank, unfortunately, her internal bleeding has gotten worse, she is now seizing, her kidneys and liver are also failing. Ultimately, the doctors have told Nicole and Shane to prepare to bury their precious baby girl. She is now being flown to Iowa City for additional testing and treatment. Please help this family with food and travel expenses. Nobody has budgeted for life flight for their 9 day old. Even $5 helps.
