Carolyn's Volunteer Trip to Africa

I have an amazing opportunity to go to Africa through Cross Cultural Solutions and work with the children of Ghana. This is a two week volunteer trip scheduled for mid-July 2014. CCS is a nonprofit organization that provides the opportunity to millions of people to travel abroad and address global issues. My trip will include working alongside other teenage volunteers in the schools, orphanages, and community. This trip means so much to me because this is what I want to spend my life doing. After graduating high school, my goal is to return to Africa and work with nonprofit organizations to improve living conditions. This trip will help prepare me and provide me with experience as I work toward that goal.
