Hugs & Donations for Orphans

Hello, World! Hello, kind & generous souls! I appreciate you taking a look at my page and reading about my mission. You see, I have a passion and purpose in my heart to help children in foster care and orphanages. My dream is to travel to orphanages around the world sharing hugs and love with orphaned children. Why hugs? Well, something so simple has such amazing power in our lives, doesn't it? Along with this aspect of my mission, I will be bringing some other items (necessities and fun things!) and buying some locally.


My first Hug Trip took place in July 2014, when I traveled to India, Sri Lanka, China, and South Korea. First, I traveled to Chennai, Delhi, and Agra, India.  I visited three orphanages in Chennai and the Mother Theresa Center in Agra. On  a long layover, I visited Vajira Sri, another orphanage in Sri Lanka, the Shanghai Healing Home in China, and the Hongik Child Welfare Center in South Korea.  In total, I met and shared smiles, hugs, and donated items with hundreds of orphaned children over almost three weeks.
