529 Fund for Sara Yoon's Boys

We were heartbroken to hear of our beloved friend Sara Yoon’s passing last week. To honor her memory, we wanted to organize a group gift earmarked for her children's college education.

Sara had been battling metastatic cancer for more than a year. She leaves behind a husband of 16 years, Sam, and twin boys, Owen and Jackson, who are 14. Our thoughts and prayers are with Sara’s family.

We felt this gift would not only connect Sam and the boys to her Yale friends, but also help them prepare for their own college journeys. We plan to collect contributions through Sunday, March 28, and send Sam a group email regarding the gift, cc-ing those who have contributed.

Sara’s laughter and exuberance touched all of us who knew her in college. We hope you can join us in honoring her memory with this gift.
