Help Stacey Give A Kid Some New Hair!

Hello Family and Friends! At the start of 2013, I made a commitment to do something for someone in need before the year was up. In January, I settled on cutting my hair and donating it to a charity. If you know me, then you know I LOVE playing with my hair. I thought it was about time that I shared my wonderfully soft hair with someone else. At the beginning of the year, I researched several hair donation charities and decided on Wigs For Kids: http://www.wigsforkids.org/. Please go to their website and read their story, it's an amazing one. Wigs for Kids builds wigs for children with hair loss problems caused by chemotherapy, radiation therapy, Alopecia, Trichotillomania, burns and other medical issues. Their wigs are designed for active children who want to run around, play sports and games, and feel like themselves again. They help kids just be kids again. Their hair replacement systems are given to children in need at no cost to the child or their family. I will be cutting my hair at the end of November 2013 and I would like to spend the month of Thanksgiving raising money for Wigs For Kids. It costs Wigs For Kids approximately $1,800 to create a hair replacement system for a child. That's our goal: Raise $1,800 for Wigs For Kids! So, when I cut my hair, I won't just be providing hair necessary for building a wig, WE will also be funding a new hair replacement system for a child in need. That's one more wig that Wigs For Kids will be able to provide to a child this year! Every donation, big or small, counts! Let's make this happen!
