5 MINUTES TO HELP 5 FAMILIES

Hi everyone, we are Jordan and Kelly and we wanted to set this up to help our 8 family  members and their families during this terrible time! This photo you see is of my Aunt and Uncle (Kelly's parents), home of 40 years. Waters rose quickly through the night 8/26 and they had to escape to the attic with their 100lbs. dog Journey. They were able to get out by wading through the dark, flood waters right before sunrise with water up to Robin's neck. The people in the photo are their brave neighbors who had to get rescued later that morning.
 
As we get continued updates from family, we have the following info: 

-8 Robichau families affected by flood in both Houston and Beaumont/Vidor areas
-Varying damage caused by flood, some homes had 1'-0" of water, others water went up to the rafters
-1 Robichau business affected by flood
-Several vehicles damaged by flood. A couple were almost completely submerged as seen in photos under "updates". 

It's going to be a long road to recovery, but with your help we can keep some hope alive.

This GoFundMe campaign will help the Robichau families in Houston and Beaumont during the "what's next" phase of this disaster. They need shelter, clothing, food, and water before they even start to rebuild. Immediate funds will go toward fans, dehumidifiers, and anything else that can help with the water damage. 

I always like knowing that my contribution is "tangible" and going to help a specific person or family in need, so if you're the same please know that these families are in need of your help.
