Mission work in Haiti and Uganda

Hey Friends!!
As some of you may know, last April I was so incredibly blessed to be able to join with 12 of my classmates from nursing school on a life changing trip to Uganda Africa through our Nursing Department. This trip was not only life altering for myself, but more importantly for the people of Uganda. It was a stepping stone in my life's journey, one of many more trips into the mission field.
I have been given a great opportunity travel with a team from my Church to Haiti this upcoming February. We will be going to a village called Chambrun (located ~13 miles from Haiti's capital, Port au Prince) with the purpose of spreading the good news of the Gospel along with loving on the people of Haiti.
Only a few weeks after signing up for the Haiti trip through my Church, I was talking to one of my dear nursing professors from Anderson University who leads the Uganda trip. It was then, that the opportunity arose for me to GO BACK to Uganda with the senior nursing class this year as a chaperone. This is another amazing opportunity for me to return to Uganda in more of a leadership role.
So, In March of 2014, I'll be helping lead a trip of 12 nursing students along with my professor to Kampala, Uganda and surrounding villages.
While we are there, we will staff various
clinics, teach the importance of: hand hygiene, brushing your teeth,
bathing, abstinence, and how to prevent STI's. We will be visiting and
loving on families affected by AIDS and children in the orphanages, and
of course, bringing tons of donations for them.
With that being said, I would like to invite you into an opportunity; a partnership, to further His kingdom, change lives, and show His love to people all over the world. Together, both trips cost close to $3,900, not to mention all of the medical supplies that we'll be taking with us. If you are financially able to donate, that's wonderful. A donation of any amount will be greatly appreciated. More importantly, I ask for your prayers. Pray for those going on the trip, for the lives that we will touch, and for those that we will not be able to touch. Pray for His traveling mercy, for guidance and discernment, for good health, and pray for the seeds that will be planted.
