Hi everyone, my name is Holley Lopushinsky. I’m 27 years old, currently studying for my Funeral Services Diploma while working full-time in a funeral home.

I’m reaching out during an incredibly difficult time. Our sweet boy Hex, just a year and a half old, suffered a onion toxicity on the night of August 23rd. Despite all our precautions—our vegetables were stored away in a sealed bag—he somehow got into them. Since then, it’s been an emotional and financial rollercoaster. He’s already been rushed to the emergency vet twice in 2 days, and continues to experience breathing issues.

Hex now requires daily veterinary visits for at least the next week, with each visit costing $80—on top of the emergency bills we've already incurred.

As a full-time student working overtime just to make ends meet, I’m heartbroken to say that I can’t keep up with these unexpected costs. I never imagined needing to ask for help, but I’m reaching out now, hoping for support from friends, family, and anyone who’s able.
