Having a child is a such easy thing for most people. But it is a very hard dream for us. A dream we have been chasing for 4 years.
My husband and I have been together for 7 years now. We have always wanted to have a baby. He is a police officer and we have very poor insurance. It doesn't cover any infertility cost.
We worked so hard to save some money to have a baby,even that is including Mark had to wear a heavy bulletproof vast in 110 degree for little bit overtime. I am an artist who makes hand making jewelry. I tried my best to find crafts shows I can go to, sometimes I have to drive 10 hours away to do a show and sleep in my car to save some hotel money. In Christmas season I worked 45 days straight. I was always so exhausted at the end of December. Unfortunately with the economy now, I just broke even at most shows, some I even lost money. I felt terribly of wasting my time on those shows. I felt being more and more away from my baby dream.
We are now 41 and 40. My ovaries are getting old and can't produce eggs naturally plus my tubes are clogged. I have had two surgeries to unclog the tubes and remove the scar tissue around the tubes. I have been taken all kind of drugs for over two years but still no any luck. Finally we decided to do IVF and went though whole procedure in this May. Had a lot shots on my tummy and butt. That was a painful and very stressful experience. Again we failed. We maximum out both of our credit cards to do it and still paying for those bills. My doctor said my biological clock is ticking and suggested to do the IVF again ASAP.
Mark doesn't have a Facebook account because of his job and he is a very private person. I am the only one in United States from my family and have few friends, and I don't have twitter account either. I hope somebody can find our dream and spread it out for us.
But even we are so struggling with funds now, we still haven't give up our dream to become parents . I am asking your generals donation to help our dream become true.
