Internship in Jinja, Uganda

I am a graduate student at the University of Bridgeport studying Global Development and Peace. My goal is to work on economic development projects in the Great Lakes region of Africa (Uganda, Sudan, South Sudan, Kenya, DRC, etc.). I have been accepted to an internship program in Jinja, Uganda through the Foundation for Sustainable Development. While there I will be working with a local organization, St. Francis Health Care Services, who work with those infected with and affected by HIV/AIDS. I am very excited for this amazing opportunity! There is a program fee that will cover all of my in-country expenses. The program fee is, however, substantial. Especially for a struggling graduate student.
