Helping a Gulf War Vet and his wife

Donation protected
A Galesburg Gulf War Veteran and his wife need our help.

Back in February, Mike and Tami Lawson, 1893 Newcomer Drive Galesburg, IL were away from their home for an extended time. While away, their furnace quit allowing the water pipes to break causing extensive damage that were heartbreaking to see.

The damage caused them to lose everything but Mike’s military uniform and Tami’s wedding dress. All their memories, from meaningful pictures of Tami’s mother who passed away last year, down to every memorial thing you can imagine.

Mike and Tami Lawson are two of the most selfless, hard working people we know. They have fallen on so many unforeseen hard times over the years, especially the last few, that it’s caused them to feel so hopeless and see no way out of this dark hole that has overwhelmed them.

This is where we can all come in! To help give these amazing, deserving and kind people some light in their life! We, her family, has had to work extremely hard for them to accept any help, because that’s the kind of people they are!

Rick Ward, Mike and Tami’s brother in law has started to tackle the cleanup and has gathered a small crew with Dan Swanson. If you can help with labor, electrical work or financial donation please call Rick (309) [phone redacted] or message Dan Swanson and Mandy Sherman on Facebook with any questions.

We thank you all for taking the time to read, share or donate to these wonderful individuals. May god bless you all!
