ALS bike ride for Charles Mattern

Our friend and former DTCC colleague, Charles Mattern, diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease) nearly two years ago, passed away on 11/13/13. Last year, a number of Charlie's co-workers participated in the 'Ride for ALS' through the ALS Association, and raised more than $7,000. This year, we've decided to create our own Ride for ALS so that the funds can go directly to Charlie's family during this holiday season.
As we did last year, we'll be riding along a portion of the Pinellas Trail - a total of 25 miles round trip. The date for this year's ride will be Saturday, December 14th. We all miss the dedication, enthusiasm, and tremendous spirit Charlie brought to the office every day and we're hoping that we can help out the Matterns during this difficult time.
