Driving 3000 miles to save 2000 children

Donation protected
As we race 3000 miles we need 2000 sponsors to stand and break the cycle of poverty for 2000 children in Ethiopia.

WILL YOU STAND FOR ONE?

On this race 2000 sponsors will represent the 2000 students in an Ethiopian rural village who will have the opportunity to break the cycle of poverty and it's devastating effects through education. Phase one will build the Shebraber School; the future educational home for 2000 students.

Sponsor Team 4Mati in the 2014s Gumball 3000 Rally from Miami to Ibiza! It’s the husbands against the wives...who will make it across the US and Europe in 7 days without dropping out?!

Follow us starting on June 5th MIAMI; 5-6th ATLANTA; 6-8th NEW YORK; 8th overnight flight to SCOTLAND; 8-9th LONDON; 9-10th PARIS; 10-11th BARCELONA; 11-14th IBIZA!

The 4Mati teams are rallying to raise funds and awareness for the 4Mati Foundation, a non-profit founded by Brian and Keri deGuzman. Funds raised from this years rally will be used to complete and develop multiple projects 4Mati has targeted in education, nutrition, and orphan support. In a country where there are an estimated 6 million orphans (Unicef'06), 3.2 million people in need of humanitarian aid for malnutrition (Unicef'12), and 57.3% of the population are illiterate (CIA'08) the 4Mati Foundation strives to build self-sustaining projects that will break the cycle of poverty and change the destinies of children so they become inspirational leaders of society; impacting their community's and country’s future.

The continued development and construction of the 15,000sq/ft Shebraber School, designed by Architect Jack DeBartolo and ASU School of Design, will ultimately provide education to over 5,000 rural Ethiopian children. Phase one, the primary funding goal of this race, is underway and will build classrooms for 2000 children.

In addition to the school project 4Mati has developed a self-sustaining Food Production Facility. The construction of this facility is nearing completion and the first mass production of Mittin, a highly nutritious all organic food supplement, will begin. This nutrient rich meal has already saved the lives of hundreds of malnourished Ethiopians young and old. The profit from the local sales of this food will provide support for the two local orphanages that house 100 orphans. Additionally, on this facilities' property, plans for a new Children's Home are in process. This home will provide a lifetime of family, shelter, love, nutrition, education, health care and support for these 100 abandoned children.

STAND FOR ONE. Invest in the life of one of these children. Your investment of $30 or $150,000 will yield exponential returns. Your investment in a child's life, through these projects, we will derail the effects of poverty - one child, one community, one country at a time.
