We've all lost someone. Someone who meant a great deal to us throughout our lives. Someone who has left a lasting imprint on us, someone who it hurts so deeply to actually believe thier gone. Keldon was that person for so many of us.
Keldon Herne was a lot of things to a lot of people. He was the life of the party, the guy that could always make you laugh and a loyal friend to so many people. Like I said he was a lot of things to a lot of people. But there was one role he played better than all the rest. It was a role that he loved playing more than all the others too, being a Dad.
Keldon loved his boys. It was evident anytime he talked about them. He was a proud father who's absolute love wasn't something he hid. This week we lost a friend, a son, a brother, an uncle, but most tragically two little boys lost a dad.
We are starting this GoFundMe page for the two that have lost the most. The way we see it is that we have a couple of responsibilities as we move forward. Things we owe these two boys. One, and possibly the most important is to never miss an opportunity to let them know how special their father was. The other is to begin a fund like this to help them in thier future endevors. It is something we know that Keldon will look down on and give that goofy grin he so often gave. It can be our way of honoring the man that meant so much to us.
