Carly's Medical Bills

In April of this year I was in a bicycle accident on my way to work in Flagstaff, AZ. I miraculously fell away from traffic, but obviously broke the fall with my face. In a state of unconsciousness, I was rushed to the Emergency Room in an ambulance where many medical tests were done to test the damage to my brain and body. I stayed in the ER overnight on a variety of different medications, including morphine. It was such a blessing to learn that I hadn't broken any bones, but I had a pretty severe concussion.
This overnight stay in the ER really nailed me as far as medical bills are concerned, and as a result of my accident I developed a recently discovered auto-immune disease that is referred to as "Anti-IGE receptor". This means that I have chronic hives! When I first started getting the hives, I had a lot of allergy testing done and a few trips back to the ER and urgent care to get medication/steroids for the itching and burning the hives brought on. It was an extremely miserable few months, and all the testing and urgent care/ER bills have piled up quite nicely to form a $12,500.00 hole in my pocket.

I have set up payment plans for all my bills, and have been paying each one diligently each month, but I just don't make enough money to live. I barely have enough extra money to buy a bus pass to get to work. I will keep working hard to pay off these bills, but in the mean time I wasn't able to finish the school semester because of the accident, and can no longer afford to go back right now. I'm currently unable to better my life until these bills
are paid off and no longer a hindrance. Any help you could give would mean the world to me.
My face and eye have miraculously healed all the way, with very faint pink scars. Now the only real scar that remains is the stress I feel every day that my life cannot move forward. As soon as I am financially squared away, I would love to go back to school and finish my degree in Environmental Sciences. As far as my intentions are concerned, I intend to put 100% of all donation money straight to my medical bills. The money donated on this site is for the sole purpose of helping me through my medical crisis, not to help pay my rent, that is what my job is for!
