Hi, all. If you're here, you probably already know the background.  Jake had a seizure on Monday (Oct. 2), and within hours, CT scans and MRIs revealed a mass in his brain. He is at North Memorial Hospital, where he will have surgery to remove the tumor early Thursday morning (Oct. 5). Surgery is expected to last approximately 3 hours. Jake will be in ICU Thursday night, in the hospital for 3 to 5 days.  Lots is still unknown. They will biopsy the tumor, which will take 3 to 5 days, and that should give more information about exactly what Jake is dealing with. In good news, a CT scan of his abdomen came back clear.  Jake, Mindy and Violet have been surrounded by amazing friends and family. Thank you to everyone for the thoughts, prayers, support and love.
