Cancer Funding for a Father of 8

My name is Dawn Wheaton. My husband Reggie and I have eight (8) beautiful children, Jesseca(15), Faith(12), Sarah(10), Benjamin(9), Caleb(7), Kezzy(6), Cameron(3), Jesse(18 months), which love and depend on us very much. Recently Reggie has been diagnosed with Merkel Cell Carcinoma (Neuro Endocrine Skin Cancer) for which the doctors have left little hope for his recovery.
Merkel cells are found at the outermost layer of your skin, they are connected to the nerve endings in the skin that are responsible for the sense of touch. Reggie is in pain most of the time. The Mayo clinic says that Merkel cell carcinoma commonly spreads beyond the skin. It tends to travel first to nearby lymph nodes (Reggie has already had some lymph nodes removed due to this but they have found that it has spread since then). It may later spread to your brain, bones, liver, or lungs, where it can interfere with the functioning of these organs.
We have lots of hope and faith in Christ to see us through whatever God has planned for us. We would like to see if we could get help through a cancer treatment facility, but we are in desperate need of assistance to do so. We have researched many options but they all cost way more than our insurance will cover, not to mention the traveling expenses, a place where we can all be together during Reggie's treatment, and living expenses while away from home. We will also need help in providing for our children when the time comes that Reggie will no longer be able to work. You see, I am unable to work outside the home as I have MS (Multiple Sclerosis). I also home school our children,so that adds even more pressure on us, as that requires additional funding to provide books and supplies. We have no idea as to how we will accomplish any of this without your help!
We would appreciate all the help and prayers we can get in our time of need. We will pray that you can help us along so that we can get the help for Reggie, myself, and our children that we need. Thank you so much for taking time for us.
