Postage And Pocket $ For PR

I have been collecting  generous donations of food, solar solutions, batteries, fans, and hygiene supplies to send directly to Rincon, Puerto Rico. I have personally covered all of the postage costs to mail relief packages and have not asked for financial assistance with these costs. As groups become more organized and as relief supplies flow in greater volume, I am unable to continue covering shipping costs. Additionally, given lack of electricity, internet access, and phone service to 94% of the island, which promises to be up to 12 months to restore, I am repeatedly told by friends and family living there that Puerto Rico has become an all cash economy - one with very few working ATM's, withdrawal limits of $50, hours long lines in tropical heat, and banks still closed! This campaign will help me continue to mail supplies to help people with basic needs and will allow the only thing working there - cold hard cash - to be sent with the packages to needy individuals in western PR. THANK YOU.

For me this is very personal. My 21 year old daughter and  15 week old granddaughter are there as well as many friends, just trying to survive daily in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria.
