Hi, my name is Eve

This is honestly quite embarrassing for me to ask, but the last few months have been pretty rough, especially financially, and I've reached a point where I could definitely use some help.

I'm a trans girl trying to build a life where I can actually be myself.

Unfortunately, I'm currently unemployed and desperately looking for work (I've sent A LOT of applications so far, but I'm not giving up ). Right now I'm living on a very limited income and I'm still partly dependent on a parent who isn't supportive of my transition.

A few months ago, while I wasn't home, that parent threw away all of my makeup and a significant part of my skincare products. Beyond losing the things themselves, it was pretty painful, made me lose all hope of a better relationship with him and made me realise how much I want to become independent and be able to transition without depending on someone who doesn't support who I am and who I want to become.

After paying rent and basic living expenses, there really isn't much left, and transitioning adds A LOT of costs on top of simply trying to live.

HRT is something I prioritize every month, but there are sooo many other costs that add up incredibly quickly.

My biggest goal right now is facial laser hair removal, constantly shaving is expensive, very time-consuming and something I honestly hate dealing with basically every day. Being able to start laser would genuinely make a huge difference in my everyday life.

Facial laser sessions around me seem to cost roughly €100 each, so even being able to fund my first several sessions would be a huge step for me.

Beside that, any additional help would give me some MUCH-needed breathing room for things like:

• Slowly building a small wardrobe I actually feel comfortable in (mostly thrift stores if possible)

• Basic makeup, sustainable skincare and haircare…

• Other transition-related expenses and normal living costs, so I'm not constantly having to choose between one thing or another

Longer term, my biggest goal is simply to become financially independent and be able to live and transition freely. I'd also eventually love to save towards other parts of my transition, potentially including FFS, but those are future (and honestly rather unrealistic) goals, right now I'm mostly trying to make my everyday situation a little more manageable.

I'm still actively looking for work and trying to become financially independent. Asking strangers for money like this feels VERY uncomfortable, but I just can't realistically afford all of this by myself right now.
