Help Us Help The Kids

Ok, help is needed. I know there are a lot of people who need help. My story is no different. I love what I do. I run a martial art school. If that sounds fun, it's because it is. We have students of all ages, gender, ethnicity and size. We have fun. We learn. We help students with weight management, ADD, Autism, violence and abuse victims and many more. We grow together and build relationships every day. Until the other day. Harvey invited himself into our community without permission and we are left to clean up his mess. Our school needs help.... we can't help the kids who come because they can't. Short and sweet, we can't help those who need us. From the outside, everything appeared fine. We came into our school only to find that there was a leak or two in the roof, water seeping in from the back door and, get this, A HOLE in the cement floor that was leaking water in by the second. All these structural issues that we are left to repair to a building that we lease. That's right, the landlord says that they are NOT responsible. Of course not. So who suffers? Our students, that's who. We need to get these kiddos back to some sort of normalcy.... give them something to look forward to. We are always trying to improve our community, now we need our communities help.
