Here is her story:
On May 1st she started getting terrible migraines that could not be taken care of with any treatment she tried. They were so bad, that she couldn't even get out of bed most days. Finally on the 23rd her doctor sent her for a CT scan. The techs quickly informed her that she would be speaking to the doctor there and that her primary doctor wanted an MRI asap for a more detailed look. That was all before 10am. At 11:30ish on the same day she was being prepped for surgery to remove a "large spot" from her right frontal lobe. The surgery took 5 hours. She was monitored and released 3 days later with no information on what was really going on yet. A couple of days after surgery she got a notification of a test result on her hospital app. ( yes I said hospital app) From there is where she found out that she did indeed have a malignant tumor removed. She has what is called Glioblastoma IV.
She is starting her treatment that will last 6 weeks and will be radiation and a chemo pill. The chemo pill alone is about $400 a piece.
Anything you can do will be helpful! Obviously she can't work, so they are on one income, with 3 kiddos. This will help with medical treatment, groceries, and any other financial stress they will come across for the next however long it takes to beat this!
Thank you so so much ahead of time!
