Wind Sports for Wounded Warriors (ws4ww) is attempting to raise funds to purchase kiteboarding equipment for our next beneficiary.
What does Wind Sports for Wounded Warriors (ws4ww) do for our Wounded Service-members? With your help, we introduce them to a variety of wind sports such as Kiteboarding, Sailing, and Windsurfing.
We train and equip our wounded warriors to the best of our ability. Whenever possible; we provide them with free, or reduced membership rates to local wind sport organizations such as sailing clubs.
Probably most importantly; We introduce combat wounded service-members to their local sailing/kiteboarding/windsurfing communities and establish a social network of like-minded individuals who have a passion for active and healthy lifestyle which is brought on by wind sports. We also do this in hopes that this community will help them progress in their pursuit of wind activities.
We do all of this as a form of appreciation to our wounded warriors' sacrifices, and as a way to help them along on their continuing road to recovery.
The $2500 dollars of raised funds will go entirely towards the purchase of a Kite, kiteboard, harness, and other gear. This equipment will be given to our beneficiary as a gift.
