Jordan Morgan moved to Dallas, Texas a year and a half ago ready for a new chapter in his life. Shortly after his arrival to Dallas, Jordan was able to secure a full-time job, a new apartment, and vehicle. God was (and still is) moving mightily in his life as he was recently baptized and rededicated his life to The Lord. Jordan's commitment to renewing his faith extended to his integral involvement with the youth ministry at his church.

Suddenly, eight days ago Jordan's life changed in a way he nor his family could ever imagine. While Jordan had previously never been sick, he began experiencing urinary retention issues which caused medical professionals to prescribe an antibiotic, bactrim, which contains sulfa. Unbeknownst to Jordan, through this terrible tragedy, he learned he had a family history of an allergy to the medication. Several days later he began to experience an itch in his body which rapidly developed into severe allergic reaction. Jordan was rushed to the emergency room after his airways began to close and blisters began to populate all over his body, including the inside of his mouth. The medication was burning his body from the inside out. Jordan was transferred days later to an ICU burn unit where he was diagnosed with TENS (Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis Syndrome).

Jordan's pain and condition due to the burning of the majority of his skin resulted in him being placed in a medically induced coma to prepare for a critical surgery on Friday. Jordan's faith has never wavered once and he continued to remain in good spirits making his family laugh up until his last alert moment (prior to being placed on the ventilator).

We are seeing and believing for a miraculous healing. The outpouring of love and support from family, friends, and strangers praying on his behalf is so deeply appreciated from Jordan and his family. We don't know what Jordan's road ahead entails, but we DO know that he needs a miracle in every way including financially. He will have a minimum 1-2 year recovery from this rare disease that has attacked him from the inside out. The hope of his family is that WHEN God does what only He can do, Jordan will be able to solely focus on his recovery.

We ask that you continue to pray fervently for Jordan and if you're able to please a sow a seed into Jordan for medical expenses and his road to recovery.

We trust in God.
